Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center. Our volunteers serve throughout the hospital in many departments. Please note that our volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
Following a personal interview and background check, every effort will be made to match your skills, talents and abilities to hospital needs. We do not accept applications from those attempting to complete court ordered community service hours or school credits.

Your responsibilities will vary according to your choice of service(s) and time schedule, but you can count on being greatly appreciated by patients and staff members wherever you choose to serve.
A mandatory Tuberculin Skin Test is provided free of charge in our WorkMed Office.
New volunteers are required to attend an orientation, which covers the hospital's mission, recognition, service openings, benefits, rules and regulations. Training sessions with an experienced volunteer or staff member in your assigned service area will be conducted on your first day of service.
Photo ID and Uniforms
All volunteers must wear a photo identification badge when they are at the hospital for any official purpose: i.e. service, meetings, etc. All volunteers must be in uniform according to dress code while performing service duties or representing the hospital.
