About Our Organization

The Auxiliary was granted its charter in 1966 and became a member in good standing of the West Central District of the Association of Florida Hospital Auxiliaries. Approximately 75 ladies began the tradition of service that continues today with a much larger membership that includes both men and women, mostly retired. Auxilians contribute almost 4,000 hours a month for the comfort and well-being of the patients.

If you’ve been considering doing some community service, we hope you’ll think of us. Our volunteers, also known as Auxilians, make a difference in people’s lives everyday by offering support and comfort to our patients and their families. Our Auxilians are recognized as individuals who provide information, assistance and guidance. Our growing membership of dedicated men and women volunteer thousands of hours of service each year to their community.
