          We are sad to report that a long-time volunteer has passed away. Marilyn Piehl has died after a long illness. A memorial service was held on February 24th. 
        
          The next Service Excellence class is scheduled for Thursday, March 25th at 9:00 AM. If you have not taken the time to attend, this is a very enlightening 2 hours and well worth the effort. You only have to attend this class one time. We have had auxilians sign up a second time, but it is not necessary.

           Our Service Excellence Star for March is Barbara Maki. Barbara is auxiliary Treasurer and also serves at the front desk and in the Gift Shop. Remember, you can nominate any volunteer. Just fill out the nomination forms that are found in the office next to the bulletin board.

            Your 2009 volunteer gift from HOF can still be picked up in the Auxiliary office. Best times are between 10AM and 1PM daily.     
           If you did not receive your volunteer pin or an hours pin at the Installation Luncheon, please pick it up in the Gift Shop. An updated phone list of the new auxilians is also available in the Auxiliary office. There are lots pf photos from the luncheon on the Photo Page.

           There is a Wellness Program available for all auxilians in our Physical Therapy Department. For only $10 per month, you can take advantage of all equipment in the PT room. For additional information, stop in to the department during working hours.  

           We recently added three new service chairpersons: Wil Henseler is now Carts Chairman; Janeta Mattera is now TLC chairlady and Joyce Trafton is the new Mother/Baby chairlady. 
 
           Please remember to adhere to our dress code as written on page 15 of the Yearbook.  Also, remember to round off your time card to the nearest whole hour. No 1/2 hours, please.
 
           If you are returning to your northern home soon, please fill out the form that is in the sign-in notebook at the front desk.

Volunteer Openings

We currently have the following openings for volunteers:
 
Courtesy Carts:  Friday--  12 to 4 shift
                           Sunday -- Both shifts
 
Gift Shop:             Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 5 to 8PM
                                                
ICU/PCU:  Many days are available-- days and shifts are flexible
 
O.P. Admitting:  Thursday-- 8 to 12 noon
                          Monday & Tuesday-- 12 to 4 PM shift
 
Diagnostic Imaging:  Monday-- 12 to 4
                                     Tuesday-- 12 to 4
 
Materials Mgt.:  3 shifts available-- days and hours are flexible
 
Patient Information:  Sunday afternoon-- 12 noon to 3 PM
 
TLC: Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday -- Both shifts open
         Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday afternoon-- 1 to 5 PM shift
