JCAHO Public Notice

Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center (HOFRMC) is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The accreditation process includes periodic surveys, previously every three years and, effective January 1, 2006, on an unannounced basis.

JCAHO focuses on the quality and safety of care. Their survey process assesses the compliance of organizations with their performance-based standards.

At any time, any individual who has concerns about patient care and the safety at HOFRMC, that the hospital has not addressed, is encouraged to contact the hospital’s management:
